"In The Nick Of Time!" is the theme for the second annual Scriptwriting & Theatre Youth Festival featuring original scripts written by school age children. While students are learning the craft of theatre arts, this festival also emphasizes writing, public speaking, communication skills, and peer collaboration. The Festival planning has already begun, so don't wait to complete your scripts, "In The Nick Of Time!"
2007 "Try On These Shoes" themed Scriptwriting & Theatre Festival was a successful project joining 40 students from 15 schools, 22 mentors and teachers, and many theatre arts supporters. Festival Brochure 2007 The performances were held Saturday, May 5th @ 7pm and Sunday, May 6th @ 3pm, 2007. The performance space was the Elizabeth Price Kenan Theatre on the UNC-Campus (Playmakers Building). A 20 minute pre-show was hosted by DSI Comedy Theater. Shows were free to the public!
