Peep Fest 2007
Kathryn Henderson, Executive Director of Market Street Books, will host the 7th annual Peep Fest at Market Street Books in Southern Village. The Fest will include a clay workshop, cooking contest, and poetry reading. Being a fellow marshmellow peep fan, Hats Off's Artistic Director Jen Daum created a sonnet for the festivities.

Challenge beholds expression of this treat,
With sugar and marshmallow shaped to fly.
Once you sample this delectable sweet,
The taste so scrumptious you cannot deny.
This mouth-watering treasure to savor,
Always pleasing to every appetite.
A toothsome creation with grand flavor,
To be consumed all day and into night.
Other enticing delights, they do pale.
The feeling towards this precious goodie-deep!
Package fresh, micro heated, or days stale,
Confectionary masterpiece, the peep.
Peeps create enchantment you can’t compare.
